In the Slovenian language, we have an expression that translates as, »We know it as well as our own pocket.« This is our way of saying that we know something very well. When it comes to our excursions, we definitely know these parts of Europe »as well as our own pockets.« We have visited these places so many times and spent so much time at each one that we truly feel at home at each of our travel destinations. We know with their hidden depths, their pulses and buzz—and it is our joy to share what we have learned with all of you.
This region of Europe is especially interesting because of its varied landscape and diversity. Throughout history, different cultures and nations met within this small area. Each has left their mark, and, over time, these traces have blended into a wonderfully unique society. This crossroad of various peoples and cultures has become the cradle of a colourful blend in which every last detail is significant.
On our excursions, we will admire a variety of landscapes as we travel through countless stunning regions. At our destination, we will take the time to learn about, enjoy, and absorb all that we experience. You will not simply take photographs of the sights and then view them at home from your armchair—you will truly feel and experience each place we visit, and breathe with them at their own pace.
